Reach Danish travellers looking beyond the best-known destinations

Taste the World is a Danish travel blog and podcast focused on unusual and less-visited places. I collaborate with destinations, tourism organisations, airlines and travel companies on podcasts, articles, video and social media, produced in Denmark or on location.

About the outlet

A travel outlet with a distinct profile

Taste the World speaks to travellers who want to discover places and experiences beyond the familiar.

The content takes readers and listeners to less-visited countries, regions and local communities. I combine personal experiences with practical advice, cultural context and the information travellers need to plan their trips.

My name is Per Sommer, and I am the founder and creator of Taste the World. I have worked professionally in communications for more than 20 years. I produce articles, podcasts, videos and newsletters, as well as content for Instagram and TikTok.

EXAMPLE OF A COLLABORATION

Picasso's Spain, produced in Denmark

2023 marked 50 years since Picasso’s death. In collaboration with the Tourist Office of Spain, I produced a podcast episode about the three museums in Spain where you can experience his work: in Barcelona, Madrid and Málaga. The guest was Danish art historian Philip Pihl, and we recorded the episode in Denmark. This is the format I offer as a first collaboration.
